ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for our first Data Center Talent Acquisition & People Operations Lead — a strategic yet hands-on builder who will lay the foundation for how we attract, hire, and support our team as we grow. You’ll own the full employee experience: from sourcing to hiring all of our talent and ensuring a smooth and great experience for all our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition
Partner with hiring managers and leadership to define and execute on all hiring needs (from writing job descriptions, to sourcing strategies and end-to-end recruitment).
Own full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and managing offers and negotiations.
Build and manage a pipeline of high-quality candidates across technical and non-technical roles.
Partner with the Poolside People team to ensure consistency across all areas of the business.
People Operations
Manage the end-to-end employee experience, including employment, payroll, benefits, compliance and so on.
Serve as the first point of contact for team inquiries and ensure an excellent employee experience.
Build and maintain processes for scalability and according to the data center unique needs.
Partner with the Poolside People team to ensure consistency across all areas of the business.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Experience in both talent acquisition and people operations roles, at early stage startups and fast growing companies.
Strong understanding of people operations best practices, US compliance and employment law (specifically important in Texas state).
High level of autonomy and willingness to build processes and relationships from scratch.
Excellent communication and ability to operate in a fast paced environment and growing team.

Data Retention
